Dr. David Haight has had a long-standing interest in corneal function and corneal transplantation. This interest began in medical school at Johns Hopkins where he performed research on corneal graft rejections. The interest continued during residency and culminated in a fellowship year spent with Dr. Richard Troutman, a pioneer in corneal transplant technology.
Since that time Dr.Haight has continued teaching and research in the field and has authored publications and three book chapters on corneal transplant techniques. Corneal transplantation and related surgical techniques have remained a special interest in Dr. Haight’s practice
